First day of rehearsals

Cranford, in the 1840s, is a rural backwater close to Manchester, where a group of women, the ‘Cranford Amazons’ , set the rules for society.  When disaster strikes one of their own, however, they must decide whether the rules are so very important after all. Elizabeth Gaskell’s much loved comic novel is brought to the stage by the Forsyte Saga team.
